50g glutinous rice
50g white rice
1 pc ginger
100g spring onion
100g green bean
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp seasoning powder

Wash and place the whole half chicken into a pot with water and sliced ginger. Bring to a boil.

Rinse the glutinous rice, white rice, and green beans well then scoop them out and into a basket. Let dry.

When the chicken broth is boiling, add the glutinous rice, white rice and green beans in and simmer for about 5 mins.

Scoop the half chicken out, tear into small, bite-sized pieces and leave out the bones. Continue to cook the rice soup on small heat until the rice and green been mixture is soft.

Finally, add the shredded chicken pieces into the pot again. Season with 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp seasoning powder, 1/2 tsp pepper to your taste. Continue to cook for 5 minutes.
